Pics from our 1st Upper Left Bday Party!
C: You always feel like someone is trying to get something out of you. They’re very strategic relationships and it just feels like there is this level of authenticity. People feel like they can be themselves, and they can partner on things with Upper Left--
J: See what happens?!
C: —but it’s not like this weird people-are-trying-to-get-something-from-you thing, or they’re trying to grow their business and they just need numbers, they just need you to follow them. It’s more than that. There’s heart in the relationship.
J: Yeah, they’re real connections for sure.
C: I remember I went out with a friend, a friend who’s in the hiking group, Alex, I remember she did a camping trip. She was hosting a girls camping trip, and I showed up there not knowing anybody, and I come to find out when we did introductions that, like, three of them were in Upper Left, and one of them was there because she meet Alex through Upper Left.
C: She had moved here from a different state, and had recently gotten out of a relationship that wasn’t healthy and just needed some girlfriends. It was full circle because I had already messaged with her on Upper Left, and then she was there and it was like, oh wow! It was like worlds colliding, and now me and Taylor are really close. It’s just so crazy how it’s grown and how it’s serving people.
J: There are so many brave women in our group, for sure! I mean, if you chose to do that without knowing anybody, it’s brave that you come out with so much. I’ve definitely been in situations like where it’s like, ‘Oh, how do we know each other?’ and it was Upper Left.
C: Women are brave, and I love that. Big things in 2019!
J: Big things in 2019 for all of us!
